Scheduling Your Appointment:

While most of our appointments are booked in advance, some same day appointments are available.  Please provide the following information when booking your appointment.

  • Date and time-frame you are requesting
  • Type of treatment and/or massage technique-or ask us for a consultation
  • Preference for a male or female massage therapist
  • Credit card (or Gift Certificate) number to guarantee your appointment

Our services are in high demand and are often booked days in advance.  Please allow for flexibility in your request.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Please observe this cancellation policy for changing or cancelling your reservation.

  • Individual appointment:  24 hours
  • Spa Parties:  7 days
  • Corporate Services:  7 days
  • Bridal Services:  14 days

Charges in full will be assessed for appointments cancelled or changed within these time frames.

 

Age Requirement:

  • Clients must be at least 16 years of age.  Clients under the age of 16 must have adult supervision.

Getting the most from your Spa Treatment:

For our residential clients, please prepare an adequate space prior to the arrival of your Spa Technician/Massage Therapist.  Most hotel rooms are laid out to accommodate a massage table or facial bed.  Your Therapist will need a space approximately 6' x 9'.  A Manicure/Pedicure can be conducted in a comfortable chair, but should be close to running water.

Also, all pets should be kept in a separate room or outside during the treatment to prevent interruptions and to create a more relaxing atmosphere.

While your Spa Technician is setting up, please complete and sign the Client Intake Form provided to identify and address any health issues/concerns you or your party may have.  Please let the Spa Technician know what expectations you have from your treatments.  

When your are ready to start your treatment, the Spa Technician will step out of the room.  Undress to your level of comfort and lie on the table under the sheet.  Throughout the treatment, you will be draped with a sheet and/or towel.  The Spa Technician will tuck the sheet around private areas to ensure privacy.  The Spa Technician will again leave the room at the completion of the treatment while you are getting up from the table.

For the best result, just lie back and relax once you are in session.  Do not feel obligated to make conversation.  A good treatment requires concentration the the part of the Spa Technician.  Feel free, however, to give your Spa Technician feedback.  Please speak up if you desire more or less pressure, are too warm or cold or experience any discomfort.

 

Method of Payment:

Shae Marie Day Spa accepts cash, checks and all major credit cards.  Corporate clients may pay by company check or credit card.  Upon completion of your treatment, please sign the invoice provided by the Spa Technician.  Confirm the rate, method of payment or Gift Certificate redemption.  Gratuity is customary and may be added to a credit card or given in cash.  It may be also included in your Gift Certificate.

Returned checks or declined credit cards will be assessed any applicable bank fees.  Disputed credit card charges resolve in favor of Shae Marie Day Spa will be assessed a small administration fee.

 

 

Gratuity:

Gratuity is customary and may be added to a credit card or given in cash.  Although gratuity is not required for single services,  a 15% gratuity will be added to any spa package with 2 or more services.

 

Important Note:

Any Therapist or Spa Technician will refuse or terminate the treatment, and charges in full, will be assessed if any of the following conditions are encountered.

  • Broken skin or lesions
  • Misconduct such as solicitation or suggestive comments
  • Medical conditions prohibiting massage
  • Intoxication

 Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions:

  • Gift Certificates are valid for one year
  • Gift Certificates are not transferable
  • Gift Certificates are not refundable

Spa Party Additions:

You may add other Spa accommodations such as Robes, Slippers, Chocolates, Champagne and other Beverages to your Spa Event for an additional fee.  These additions are not included in any of our spa packages.  Prices are available upon request!
